CHAPTER 5: Be Positive

…it shall be done for you as you have believed…”Matthew 8:13”

It doesn’t mean we can get anything we want by thinking about it. We must speak and think in agreement with His will and plan for us. If we have no idea what His plan is, just think whatever He does will be good.

In Roman 8:28 does not say all things are good but it says that all things work together for good.

This passage really teaches me how to not let anything steal my joy in all circumstances.

I always plan out my days, and I expect everything will work out according to the plan. When something changes, I would get frustrated and lost the joy to continue the rest of the plan. Some of my friends told me I should get more flexible and think positive. That time, I didn’t really get that point specifically, until I understand what Roman 8:28 said, I ask for God’s purpose, and God’s will, not my will.

When I fully trust Him and decide to enjoy whatever happens. I can see that all things work together for good.

A negative person will easily complain, murmur, and spot on other’s mistake or weakness. By the help of Holy Spirit, I believe God can restore us. Because in John 16:7-8 says Holy Spirit is the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby). Holy Sprit will also set us free from Evil Forebodings.

For whatever happens, again it all works together for good. When thing doesn’t work out, positive thinking will have a ready mind. Having a ready mind and still being positive is a balance.

Hoping in faith will bring up a positive thinking. Expect God will do beyond our understanding. As children of God, I strongly believe, signs, wonders, and miracles are our right. So choose to expect in order to receive.

Last, 1 Peter 3:10 “For let him who wants to enjoy life and see good days keep his tongue free from evil and his lips from guile.”

Having a positive mind and mouth are linked together.
